Hypnotherapy for Fears
and Phobias

What is a Phobia?

A phobia is an overwhelming and debilitaing fear of a specific object, situation, place, feeliing or animal. Many times the fear behind a phobia is irrational, but the ‘unconscious’ part of your mind throughout your life has learnt to create immense fear related to the phobia.
This can result in feeling very distressed and the fight/flight response being triggered.
Phobias most often originate in childhood, but can also happen in adulthood linked to highly emotional incidents.

How can Hypnotherapy help?

Hypnotherapy can help by identifying the cause of the phobia or fear, and inducing a relaxed trance state, in order to create a safe, relaxing enviornment to desensitize the phobia.
You will be able to move forward in life with increased confidence and new behavioural patterns.

"I would definitely recommend Lucy, she is lovely and really helped me to noticeably gain confidence in my day to day life and deal with a phobia that I've had for 10+ years. I learnt a lot from her and thoroughly enjoyed the sessions."
